Certified Genealogist 1995 to 2016

We recently succeeded in obtaining a court order instructing that our clients would be registered as full owners of the property which they were claiming. We are much appreciative of all your excellent work, which enormously contributed to the outcome of the application. Many, many thanks and hopefully we will have further dealings in the not too distant future.

I am extremely grateful for all the work Eileen has performed. Her professionalism and expertise came to light as she had to trace me through 3 countries . America, Ireland and Scotland. Because of her persistence and extensive research, I was able to visit the grave of my brother Cecil in Connecticut, whom I never knew existed.

Thank you for your excellent research you conducted for us recently on our Boston estate. Without your expertise and diligent research, we would never have located the heirs in Ireland. Please be assured that we will use your fine service3s the next time we have any research necessitating Irish research. We have also recommended your firm to our fellow members of The New England Historic & Genealogical Society here in Boston.

Eileen Ó Dúill was the genealogist who located my mother and her family when their first cousin died in New York. It was a long and drawn out process but thanks to her persistence and comprehensive research, the family ultimately received an inheritance and the added bonus of family trees. We can recommend HeirsIreland to anyone who has need of an experienced, conscientious and dedicated Irish genealogist. Eileen O Duill was available to answer questions and keep my family informed and up to date at all times during the process.

We had to administer an estate of an elderly lady who died unmarried, without issue and on the face of it had no living relative with a relationship closer than 2nd Cousins. We had the benefit of very little information regarding the maternal family history, some of which proved wrong and merely had the death certificate of the Deceased's father which later proved to be the Deceased's grand-father. Ms O Duill was able to obtain the details of the various generations of the Deceased's family on both the Maternal and Paternal side stretching from the 1860's to present day. In order to deal with the requirements of the High Court we had to prove by way of Affidavit, the lineage by reference to Birth Death and Marriage Certificates. We could not have completed the task without the expertise and worldwide contacts which Ms. O Duill has obviously made. Ms O Duill was extremely pleasant to work with, provided interim reports and updates, met with the writer regularly as was necessary, was a team player, and performed her brief in a timely and cost effective manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ms O Duill to a colleague.

Eileen O'Duill recently provided Expert Genealogical Testimony and Research for our complex Kinship Hearing in the Surrogate's Court of Kings County (Brooklyn, New York.) In trying to establish a closed class of 'unknown heirs', we had encountered many obstacles prior to engaging Ms. O'Duill. Her excellent research and genealogical report was extremely thorough and of invaluable assistance to our case. The standard of her work was all the more notable and appreciated as it was performed on an expedited basis. Ms. O'Duill travelled to New York to appear in person before the Court. She was not only well-prepared for our hearing in Kings County but was also familiar with the various Surrogate Courts throughout greater New York. The thoroughness of Ms. O'Duill's testimony, along with the challenges she faced in researching the lineage of the decedent, was praised by the Court both on the day of the hearing and in the Court Order. I would not hesitate to engage Ms.O'Duill's services in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend her to local acquaintances looking for an Irish genealogist.
